The aim of the restoration of the Beata Vergine Assunta church in the Valmadonna hamlet of the municipality of Alessandria was to restore the facade to its original situation.
Central to the restoration work were the rehabilitation interventions from rising damp that had heavily damaged the plaster, restructuring a dehumidifying and transpiring cycle to allow the evaporation of the humidity that will continue to rise from the subsoil where, at low depth, there are water bubbles.
