Structural and opaque acrylic-siloxane finish with anti-algae
Description:UNI-KA 2.0 is an acrylic-siloxane microfiller coating based on acrylic copolymers and siloxane resins in water dispersion, lightfast and UV-resistant colour pigments and silica fillers with selected grain size. It has excellent resistance to alkalis, weathering and has considerable resistance to rubbing, washing and low dirt retention. In particular, it has high water vapour permeability combined with low capillary water absorption and a mixture of innovative active biocides resistant to alkaline pH, washout and UV rays that protect the substrate from the proliferation of mould, fungi and algae. In addition, it is easy to apply by brush and roller and has excellent filling and spreading power.
On the employment fields:All these characteristics make UNI-KA 2.0 a special micro-top coat for protection and decoration, suitable for exterior application on premixed and traditional, lime-bonded hydraulic mortar-based plasters, both civil-finished and non-concrete finished, and on concrete mixes, both in new buildings and in urban building renovation work. In addition, it can be used as a primer and bonding coat on difficult to cover or uneven surfaces, and then finished with other exterior products of the same siloxane class.
