Meshes and accessories for shatterproof systems

The problem of slab crumbling represents one of the most widespread degradation phenomena in existing buildings, particularly those constructed between the 1940s and 1970s. It actually consists in the detachment from the soffit of portions of plaster and brick piñata bottoms.

The PALLADIO SECURITY SYSTEM proposed by Fornaci Calce Grigolin consists of a pre-impregnated fibreglass mesh, which is laid dry on the intrados of the slab and fixed to the concrete joists by means of a specific certified screw. At the perimeter edges, the mesh is fixed by anchoring it to the floor slab and wall respectively using specific metal brackets and fixing plugs.
