Reinforcement systems with CRM (Composite Reinforced Mortar) represent the modern evolution of the more traditional intervention of reinforced plaster with electrowelded mesh. The technique consists in realising a diffused plating, on both faces of the masonry, with slabs of limited thickness (> 3 cm) reinforced with F.R.P. composite nets and suitably connected to the support by means of an effective system of transversal connections.
Fornaci Calce Grigolin's PALLADIO CRM structural reinforcement system uses G.F.R.P. (Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer) preformed meshes, connectors and accessories with CE marking, combined with certified cement or lime-based structural mortars, to create thin, collaborating, reversible reinforced plasters connected transversally to the masonry, capable of improving the mechanical characteristics of shear, flexion and compression resistance.
