Description:PALLADIO CALCE NATURA NHL5 is a natural hydraulic lime with a low content of watersoluble salts suitable for making masonry mortar or plaster with high breathability and resistance to sulphates. The characteristic colouring makes it possible to work on historic masonry, reducing the chromatic impact between the new and the existing. It is thus possible to reproduce chromatic and aesthetic effects with the use of local inert materials, pigments or coloured earths.
PALLADIO CALCE NATURA NHL 5 is a natural hydraulic lime NHL 5 in compliance with Standard EN 459-1, with high water vapour permeability, obtained by calcining marly limestone extracted from natural banks in vertical kilns, and then subjected to quenching treatment and maturation process before being sent for grinding.
PALLADIO CALCE NATURA NHL 5 is a traditional cement and gypsum-free binder with good sulphate resistance. The hardening process takes place slowly with low shrinkage and development of strength over time. The resulting mortars have a low modulus of elasticity, high adhesion to the substrate and good water retention, which promotes proper curing. All these features make PALLADIO CALCE NATURA NHL 5 one of the most widely used binders for prestigious architectural and green building projects.

breathability and workability characterised by the absence of reactivity towards sulphates.
PALLADIO CALCE NATURA NHL 5 is suitable for internal and external decorative plaster, for use in the restoration sector as a binder for use in the composition of mortar and plaster
for renovation, dehumidifying and lightening, or for consolidating vaults and masonry using the “cuci-scuci” technique. The high purity of the raw materials used and the production
techniques employed make it particularly suitable for use in green building for the preparation of plasters, base and finish coats, mortars for masonry and screeds.
